Mrs. Dyke is using Blogs to show her students in her enrichment class a new way to do a report on a specific topic. For her class they were doing the "Eleanor Rigby Project" which is a telecollaborative project that explored the issue of homelessness. Mrs. Dyke thought that by having her students create blogs on a topic that is often ignored or people who are often looked down upon, It would open their minds up to new ways of thinking. Once the students posted their blogs; which she has them do daily, she would then read and post a reply to them by asking questions or pointing them to a website to explore the questions they themselves brought up. She definetly is using technology in a great way!
